Middle React Native developer (вакансія неактивна)

We seek an experienced React Native developer to join our project. The app is an AI-first food logging app for people who want to understand their nutrition (e.g., calories, fat, carbs, and protein) in an easy-to-use interface.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the existing codebase by fixing known bugs and improving performance, such as startup time.
• Drastically improve the current app’s performance in the initial stages.
• Develop new features as specified by the team with the ability to plan and architect features.
• Propose an improved design for various early architecture decisions that may cause issues with scaling.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience in React Native.
• Firm grasp of TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of React Native’s lifecycle, including state management, component lifecycle, and virtual DOM, to effectively fix performance issues.
• Ability to build visually appealing UI flows end-to-end, including creating great animations using React Native Reanimated.
• Intermediate Strong level of English.

Current React Native App Stack:

• Build System: Expo/EAS
• Backend: Supabase
• Local Database: WatermelonDB

Will be a plus:

• Experience building applications with “offline mode.”
• Experience optimising layouts/performance/load time
