We are seeking an experienced and talented QA Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of the client’s e-commerce platform based on the Shopify Headless Storefront and Sanity Headless CMS. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, designer, project manager, and stakeholders to maintain the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

— Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for e-commerce projects based on Shopify Headless Storefront and Sanity Headless CMS.

— Conduct thorough functional, regression, and performance testing to identify software defects, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks.

— Collaborate with development teams to identify, reproduce, and document software defects and track their resolution.

— Perform end-to-end testing of various e-commerce features such as product catalog, shopping cart, checkout process, payment integration, shipping, and order management.

— Ensure the compatibility of our e-commerce platform with different international markets, including testing for currency conversion, taxation rules, and shipping methods.

— Continuously monitor and analyze website performance, identifying potential areas for improvement and optimization.

— Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated testing processes into the software development lifecycle.

— Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in e-commerce to enhance the quality assurance processes.

Requirements:

— Proven experience as a QA Engineer, specifically within e-commerce projects.

— Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms, preferably Shopify, and headless commerce concepts.

— Experience with testing frameworks, bug tracking systems, and test management tools.

— Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test automation, and continuous integration processes.

— Familiarity with international e-commerce standards and best practices, including currency conversion, and taxation rules.

— Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.

— Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

— Proactive mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and learning.

Preferred Qualifications:

— Experience working with Sanity or other headless content management systems (CMS)

— Knowledge of frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS

— Familiarity with performance testing tools and techniques

— Knowledge of the API testing

— Automation testing exposure
