We are seeking Data Engineers to join their data engineering team. The role focuses on building and maintaining data pipelines using a modern cloud data stack to drive data-driven decision-making across the retail organization.
Technical Stack (Must-Have)
- Snowflake — Cloud data warehouse
- dbt Cloud — Data transformation (SQL)
- Astronomer (Airflow) — Workflow orchestration
- Python — Scripting and automation
Required Skills
Critical (Non-Negotiable):
- Strong dbt experience (2+ years minimum)
- Advanced SQL skills (complex queries, optimization, data modeling)
- Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse (BigQuery, Redshift)
- Airflow experience (DAG development, orchestration)
- Python proficiency
Experience:
- 5+ years in a Data Engineering role
- Production data pipeline experience
- Cloud data platform experience
- Git version control
- ELT/ETL processes
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data pipelines using dbt and Airflow
- Write SQL transformations in dbt
- Optimize data models in Snowflake
- Develop Airflow DAGs for orchestration
- Implement data quality checks
- Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders
- Document data processes and lineage
- Optimize query performance
