DevOps Engineer

Swarmer is a Vendor-Agnostic Autonomy for Coordinated Robots. We develop AI-managed collaborative autonomy to make teams of connected drones and autonomous systems smart, efficient, and self-improving over time.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to design and manage the infrastructure that supports our multi-vendor UAV autonomy platform. You’ll manage both cloud environments for data and ML workloads, as well as on-premise systems for testing and integration, enabling our engineering teams to iterate quickly and deploy safely.

🚀 WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for robotics and AI/ML software.
• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, etc) for data processing, training, and simulation.
• Administer and optimize Linux-based systems used in development and testing labs.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring of services.
• Integrate containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) for scalable deployments.
• Ensure security and reliability of infrastructure in a high-stakes defense environment.
• Support developers with infrastructure for simulation and integration testing.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.

📌 WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Linux Systems Engineering.
• Strong understanding of the network stack and core network protocols, including how they operate in Linux environments.
• Strong Linux administration skills and scripting (bash, python).
• Experience with CI/CD systems and version control tools (ArgoCD, Git).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
• Proficient in containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes).
• Familiar with database deployment and maintenance (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Experience supporting ML or robotics workloads is a plus.
• English B2+.
