Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Solution Architect for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in the USA. Our client is an American multinational company that operates, franchises, and licenses lodging, including hotel, residential, and timeshare properties. Also, it’s the largest hotel chain in the world by the number of available rooms. The company is based in Bethesda, Maryland, USA, and encompasses a portfolio of nearly 8,300 properties under 30 leading brands spanning 138 countries and territories. We seek a highly dynamic individual to join the Digital Products Enterprise architecture team. This individual will be responsible for architecture and design of technology solutions and platforms that support digital marketing transformation. The client is introducing new and innovative interactions for the guest and associates, and the right candidate will help expand the company’s use of technology to enable and achieve the organization’s goals and objectives. Strategically designs, develops, and implements technology models for enterprise-level applications and systems. Governs and reviews the output of the managed service providers responsible for the actual hands-on delivery of services, managing outcomes and results. Candidate is expected to lead web and/or mobile application architecture efforts. The solution architect will play a vital role in the architecture, design and deployment of Adobe solutions, including Audience Manager, Campaign, Analytics, Target, Experience platform and Experience Manager. You will work closely with marketing departments, IT, developers, solution architects, and end users to build state-of-the-art implementations for the client’s Martech capabilities.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in implementing and/or managing daily operations with three or more of the following Adobe Experience Cloud solutions:
    — Target (must have);
    — Experience Platform;
    — Analytics;
    — Audience Manager;
    — Campaign (standard or classic);
    — Experience Manager;
    — Experience Cloud Platform/Adobe IO.
  • 5+ years of experience in implementing and/or managing daily operations with three or more of the following Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions:
    — Multisite management or deployments;
    — Workflow;
    — Marketing or Martech;
    — Commerce;
  • 4+ years of experience architecting and implementing complex digital marketing solutions across Site, SEM, Media, Mobile App, and Email for large corporate environments.
  • Hands-on experience delivering customer-facing solutions using client-side technologies, server-side programming, and server-to-server APIs. Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java microservices, etc.
  • Superior problem-solving, organizational, decision-making, written, oral and interpersonal skills.

Will be a plus:

  • Multi Experience Cloud Architect or Business Practitioner Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) certifications.
  • Most of the required experience was performed as a direct customer of Adobe or as a resource of a consulting firm deploying Adobe services.
  • Understanding implementing a customer data platform (CDP).
  • Previous experience working with CMS systems and how tag management works.
  • Good understanding of the different marketing strategies around content data and marketing KPIs.
  • Hands-on experience implementing and solutions Adobe Experience Manager solutions for live clients.
  • Familiarity with one of the leading UI technologies/frameworks like React, Angular, Bootstrap, etc.
  • Knowledge of different deployment models for Adobe AEM, Target, Analytics, etc., on-prem, cloud, and SaaS.
  • Knowledge of public clouds like AWS, Azure, or Google will be part of projects and initiatives to support solutions on Adobe Experience and Marketing stack of products.
  • Establish best practices around Adobe suite of products, esp.AEM Target Analytics Launch, etc.
  • Nurture relationships with stakeholders, esp. on MarTech and Global Marketing teams, and work with other technical architects, the solution leads, product teams and engineering teams to define strategic solutions.

Responsibilities:

Managing The Day-To-Day Data Architecture

  • Develop and deliver long-term strategic goals for technology architecture vision and standards in conjunction with service providers, data users, department managers, clients, and other key stakeholders.
  • Assess and determine governance, stewardship, and frameworks for managing technology across the organization.
  • Create short-term tactical solutions to achieve long-term objectives and an overall technology management roadmap.
  • Conduct technology life cycle, duration, usage requirements, feasibility studies, and other tasks.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for data reuse, migration, or retirement.
  • Verify that technology strategies and architectures are in regulatory compliance.

Developing and Maintaining EA Standards

  • Develop and promote technology management methodologies and standards
  • Define standards for service providers to address technology-related problems regarding systems integration, compatibility, and multiple-platform integration
  • Clarify guidelines for service providers to develop and implement key components as needed to create testing criteria to guarantee the fidelity and performance of technology architecture.
  • Describe guidelines for service providers for documenting the technology architecture and environment to maintain a current and accurate view of the larger technology picture.

Building Successful Relationships

  • Collaborate with Martech, Data, and Global marketing Optimization teams to Project Managers and business unit leaders for all projects involving enterprise applications.
  • Act as a leader and advocate of technology management, including coaching, training, and career development for staff.
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers to select the products or services that best meet company goals.
