Senior Golang Developer (B2B Fintech)

Spendbase is building the next-generation finance platform for modern companies. We optimize SaaS, cloud, and corporate card spend, and now we’re expanding our banking and card issuing team.

We’re looking for a Senior Golang Developer with hands-on fintech Saas experience (banking/cards/payments). If you love building scalable systems in a highly regulated environment and want to shape how corporate payments work — this is for you :)

What you’ll do:

• Design, build, and maintain backend services for Spendbase’s new banking and payments infrastructure
• Develop high-performance APIs and microservices in Go, ensuring reliability and scalability as we onboard thousands of customers
• Collaborate with product, DevOps, and security teams to shape the architecture of core banking components — ledgers, transaction engines, KYC/KYB flows, and card issuing systems
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code. Participate in code reviews, refactoring, and continuous improvement
• Diagnose production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement efficient fixes
• Keep an eye on emerging tools, libraries, and patterns in the Go and fintech ecosystems

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years of experience developing backend systems in Golang
• Experience in fintech or banking products is a must
• Strong understanding of concurrency, memory management, and REST/gRPC design
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, Redis) and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or similar)
• Understanding of secure software design, authentication, and data integrity (bonus if familiar with PCI DSS or banking APIs)
• Solid grasp of software development best practices: version control (Git), testing, CI/CD
• Proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-scaling startup environment
• Upper-Intermediate or higher English
