Main responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js;
• Optimize application performance;
• Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality;
• Debug and resolve issues in the backend systems;
• Manage and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases;
• Collaborate with tech lead, frontend developers, project manager and other team members;
• Continuously learn and apply new technologies to improve backend systems.

Hard skills:

• Experience with unit testing;
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Clickhouse, Redis);
• Strong debugging skills Knowledge of network protocols (HTTP, FTP, SSH);
• Deep understanding of asynchronous programming in Node.js and event loop;
• Familiarity with JavaScript inheritance and prototypes;
• Basic Linux server administration (including console commands);
• Experience with high-load systems (a plus);
• Proficiency in Git;
• Clean code writing and adherence to coding standards;
• Performance optimization skills;
• Willingness to learn new technologies and enhance skills.
