About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer to join our team building a cloud-based merchant shipping & logistics platform. The system processes large-scale operational and spatial data, enabling advanced analytics and real-time insights for the maritime industry.

You will work on high-performance backend systems, interactive frontend interfaces, and complex data processing pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using Laravel and Livewire (3.0+)
• Design and optimize backend APIs and business logic for logistics workflows
• Work with spatial data (storage, indexing, calculations, transformations)
• Build and improve big data processing and analytics pipelines
• Integrate external services and data sources related to shipping and logistics
• Collaborate closely with product, data, and infrastructure teams
• Ensure performance, scalability, and security of cloud-based systems

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Laravel and Livewire (version 3.0 or higher)
• Solid full-stack development background (backend-focused is acceptable)
• Proven experience with spatial / geospatial data, including:
  
  • Spatial databases (e.g. PostGIS or equivalent)
  • Distance calculations, geofencing, routing, or spatial queries
• Experience designing scalable database schemas
• Strong understanding of cloud-based architectures
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code

Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)

• Experience with Python
• Background in big data processing or analytics
• Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL processes, or large datasets
• Experience working on logistics, shipping, or transportation systems
