JOB OVERVIEW

Plan A Technologies is looking for a passionate, self-directed, results-based sales executive to join our team as we begin to target more specific customer industry segments across the globe. We have experienced rapid growth in working with a wide population of partners from Fortune 500 companies to smaller start-up organizations. Candidates can work from home leveraging all forms of communication and have uncapped commission potential. The sales executive’s responsibilities are largely focused on generating leads and securing engagement opportunities by utilizing a provided toolkit of sales enablement solutions. The sales executive is expected to have an established business network that can be effectively leveraged while also demonstrating a creative and effective ability to identify new prospects. The ideal candidate for this role will be willing to be part of a team focused approach that is willing to share perspectives and assist with all aspects of the customer sales cycle to bring about success for the company and themselves.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will be selling to Directors, VPs and C-level executives, primarily in IT and product development roles. It will be your job to identify potential leads, through email, social media, text, or phone calls to prospects around the world, set up introductory meetings, attend events and trade shows, and effectively articulate the Plan A “story” in meetings that can range in duration. The job requires someone who is extremely self-motivated and doesn’t need a lot of handholding or supervision to bring deals to fruition. Travel is required as needed.

EXPERIENCE

We’re looking for candidates who are aware of and effectively demonstrate all the detailed elements that go into identifying prospects, articulating our core value propositions, overcoming objections, negotiations and closing deals. Please note that to be considered, you must have at least 8 years of experience selling software services to enterprise customers in the high-tech, financial services, banking, hospitality, or government services industries.

The winning candidate must be smart, thorough, and hungry to build business — this is a sales job where you need to identify prospects, do several pitches each day, negotiate contracts, and displace competitors...so you need to love selling and the intrinsic/extrinsic rewards that result. Candidates should be comfortable communicating through all known channels (email, social media, phone, text, chat rooms, webinars, etc) and should have a track record of meeting or exceeding their quotas.

Ideal candidates should be organized, driven and must genuinely care about helping our customers. We’re not looking for team members that only do it there way and are not open to new ways to be successful. We want a friendly, trustworthy, and well respected sales team that willing to get in on the ground floor of a high growth organization and take advantage of the unique value propositions that the company offers in comparison to our competitors. Experience working with both small and large companies would be helpful.

We need very strong written and verbal communicators, so we will ask to see a writing sample from you. Intermediate English or better is required. If you are not comfortable submitting a writing sample in English, we cannot consider your application.
