As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of Pingle’s own game development project: asymmetric multiplayer shooter for Steam platform and consoles in future.
This is a full-time position, where you will drive the project’s delivery, manage a large multidisciplinary team, and ensure that everyone is following the roadmap while maintaining high quality. This is an opportunity to manage a product all the way to launch and live-ops, contributing to the strategic direction of our studio.
• Delivery management: Conduct end-to-end project management from pre-production to release, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.
• Process building & improvement: Continuously set-up and refine project management processes, documentation and workflows.
• Strategic planning: Develop and maintain all of the necessary project artifacts: WBS, High level roadmap, detailed Gantt chart etc. Constantly align project goals with company objectives and product vision.
• Team & Project Leads management: Implement and maintain Scrum as the main framework. Oversee large, cross-functional teams (currently 40+ members), including designers, developers, artists, and QA. Foster collaboration and high performance.
• Risk management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure transparent escalation of critical issues.
• Resource allocation: Manage resources effectively to balance workload, ensuring timely and quality output across all project phases.
• Stakeholder communication: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing clear updates on project status, risks, and achievements.
• Experience:
— Minimum
— Strong understanding of five project life cycle stages (classic PLC), complete understanding of all core processes, experience in training others on these processes.
— Proven track record in product-focused game development companies.
— In-depth knowledge of Steam platform-specific challenges.
— Experience managing large-scale projects involving teams of 40+ members.
— Expert knowledge of all basic project management tools (WBS, Gantt, etc.
— Experience taking games from pre-production to release.
— Previous work on multiplayer shooter games is a significant plus.
• Industry knowledge:
— Strong understanding of full-cycle game development processes, methods, and specifics unique to shooter and RPG genres.
— Proficient in various project management methodologies, particularly Scrum.
— Familiarity with live service operations, post-launch content planning, and continuous improvement strategies in game development.
• Skills:
— Demonstrated ability to lead large, multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and motivating team members toward achieving project milestones.
— Strong organizational skills, with a strategic mindset for managing complex projects and aligning them with business objectives.

— High level of risk and change management skills, experience in developing risk mitigation strategies, track and report risks.
