Corporate Lawyer (Cyprus office)

Requirements:
• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) minimum; a Master of Laws (LL.M) or equivalent in corporate law is preferred.
• Qualification as a lawyer with registration in the Cyprus Bar Association.
• 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in an in-house legal role.
• Strong understanding of Cyprus law in finance, corporate governance, data protection, and employment.
• Fluency in Greek and English is essential.
• A good level of speaking in Russian or Ukrainian is also required.

Responsibilities:
Legal Support:
• Handle company registrations, corporate agreements, and labor law documentation.
• Develop internal policies and ensure GDPR compliance.
• Maintain legal compliance, including obtaining necessary licenses and permits as required.

Legal Risk Analysis:
• Assess legal risks for new and ongoing projects.
Provide recommendations to minimize risks during project implementation.

Legal Consulting:
• Advise on Cyprus business regulations and regulatory requirements.
• Support negotiations with regulatory authorities.

Documentation Management:
• Prepare and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Ensure compliance and safeguard the company’s interests in transactions.
