AML Officer

Requirements:

-Experience in the position of AML officer in the igaming (casino, sportsbook, poker) or fintech sectors for over 2 years;
-MLRO Certificate — Malta;
-English — upper intermediate (B2;)
-Ability to analyze, systematize, and clearly convey information;
-Attention to detail, initiative, and communicativeness;
-Proven experience in AML compliance, financial crime prevention, or a related field;
-In-depth knowledge of AML laws, regulations, and industry best practices;
-Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and anomalies in financial transactions;
Excellent communication skills to convey AML policies and procedures effectively;
High attention to detail and ability to conduct thorough investigations;
Integrity and ethical conduct with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of financial integrity.

Responsibilities:

— Develop, implement, and update AML policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory guidelines;
— Conduct risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential money laundering risks within the organization;
— Monitor and analyze customer accounts and transactions for suspicious activities, and investigate and report findings as necessary;
— Provide ongoing AML training to employees and promote awareness of AML compliance throughout the organization;
— Ensure compliance with AML laws and regulations, and liaise with regulatory bodies and law enforcement agencies as needed;
— Collaborate with internal departments, including legal, risk management, and compliance, to address AML-related issues;
— Conduct customer due diligence (CDD) to verify identity and assess risk associated with customer activities;
— Prepare and submit Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) to relevant authorities in a timely manner.
