We’re rapidly growing and inviting an Accountant to our team. You will assist the Chief Accountant in managing the accounting operations of the company, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements for any Asians companies.
You would be running such tasks as:
- Preparation, collection, storage, and monitoring of financial primary documents (invoices, bank statements, other documents) for local accountants;
- Posting bank statements, working in the accounting software;
- Assistance in preparing documents, registers, breakdowns, and forecasts;
- Partial work with accounts receivable (creating invoices, updating information on partners);
- Working with tables in Excel/Google Sheets, data entry, Excel pivot tables;
- Prepare and process salary calculations for all staff;
- Manage the accrual of advance payments, sick leave, financial aid, benefits, and other relevant payments;
- Reconcile payroll data between accounting and managerial systems to ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date;
- Calculate and accrue vacation reserves monthly, with a comprehensive recalculation at the end of each year;
- Address and resolve employee queries regarding payroll and benefits;
- Create salary references for employees as requested;
- Control bank accounts and arrange all payments based on accounts payable requests;
- Ensure all bank transactions are recorded in accounting software (managerial programs) and reconcile the balance at the closing date;
- Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts;
- Work closely with the Treasury Team to ensure a positive cash flow balance across company activities;
- Oversee all accounting areas, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger;
- Ensure proper maintenance and organization of accounting records and documentation;
- Ensure the availability of primary documents;
- Perform duties related to period closing;
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations;
- Assist in the coordination and execution of internal and external audits.
Required skills and expertise:
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience;
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
- Experience in multiple jurisdictions is a plus;
- Knowledge of UA GAAP or IFRS accounting and reporting standards — is an advantage;
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices;
- Proficiency in accounting software 1C;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel;
- Pre-intermediate or Intermediate level of English (communication, reading, writing);
- Experience in undergoing audits;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, humour, and integrity;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau.
