Location: only abroad (EU country)

Short description of the project:
This is an e-commerce project for one of the largest retail businesses in Latin America, with over 23,000 stores. We are starting from scratch to develop an autonomous, cashier-less store.

Technical Requirements:
1. Primary Skills (Must-Have):
* 5+ years of experience in Java development.
* Good understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
* Experience with Spring Boot framework
* Experience with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
2. Database Skills:
* Experience with non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB)
* Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL)
* Experience with — Redis
3. Tooling and Monitoring:
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
* Experience with logging and monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Grafana).
4. Cloud Platforms:
* Experience with AWS
* Knowledge of serverless architectures is a bonus.
5. Testing and Quality Assurance:
* Writing unit, integration tests.

Soft Skills
1. Communication:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
2. Collaboration:
* Experience working in agile teams.
* Proficient in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
3. Problem-Solving:
* Demonstrates strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.

Experience Requirements:
* Years of Experience: 5+ years in software development.
* Proven experience building production-grade applications using Java. Preferred Attributes
* A self-starter with a proactive mindset.
* Enthusiastic about learning new technologies and frameworks.
* Adaptable to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Additional Information:
English level — Upper Intermediate or higher.
Work schedule — 11:00 AM — 8:00 PM CET (including a 1-hour lunch break).
