Nihon Cyber Defence (NCD) are a global cyber security company, headquartered in Tokyo, Japan with a UK and European base in Belfast, Northern Ireland; Kyiv, Ukraine, and Krakow, Poland. The NCD Consultants deliver cyber security services globally.
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Consultant who will be responsible for delivering and assessing cybersecurity programs and strategies using industry leading best practices and frameworks, identify initiatives, design conceptual solutions to remediate gaps or enhance maturity of specific cybersecurity capabilities, improve cybersecurity measurements and monitoring, and develop sustainable processes. The successful applicant will be part of a global team delivering cyber consultancy services alongside a team of cyber security consultants and contractors, reporting to the Team Leads, Head of Incident Management UK and Global Management Team as required. The role is office based with hybrid opportunities. Travel, both national and international, may be required on an infrequent basis dependant on operational requirements.
You’ll work with a consortium of industry leaders and prominent cybersecurity experts. Along with applying your own experience of risk management principles to a cybersecurity environment and leveraging cybersecurity frameworks / standards like ISO/IEC 27001:2013, NIST CSF, NIST
Key Skills and Competencies
Qualifications and Experience sought:
A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or Cyber Security related field or Industry recognised certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and EC-Council Incident Responder among others... are an advantage but evidenced experience is essential.
