We are looking for an experienced Chief Legal Officer (CLO) to take full ownership of legal, compliance, and regulatory matters across our platforms and brands. This role is crucial in ensuring regulatory compliance, managing legal risks across multiple jurisdictions, and providing strategic guidance to support business growth and secure operations globally.

Key Objectives:

• Develop a Country Risk Matrix: Formalize processes for launching new markets, assessing licensing requirements, and providing recommendations for entry strategies (mirrors, local domains, etc.).
• Analyze Current Brands and Markets: Identify and document legal and regulatory risks.
• Establish Processes with Regulators and PSPs: Ensure proper management of penalties, disputes, and regulatory inquiries.
• Build and Optimize Legal & Compliance Team: Create efficient workflows and structures to support business needs.
• Expand External Legal Network: Develop relationships with local law firms and consultants in key jurisdictions.

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive legal support for the operator business, including licenses, regulatory inquiries, and player claims.
• Manage relationships with international regulators, including Tier-1 markets.
• Oversee litigation and disputes through local partner law firms, preparing strategies for appeals and enforcement.
• Review and provide legal expertise on contracts with PSPs, assessing non-standard risks and advising internal teams.

Requirements:

• Management experience of 5+ years (overall legal experience 6–7+ years).
• Proven experience at an iGaming operator with its own platform.
• Hands-on experience in Compliance & AML.
• Deep experience interacting with Tier-1 regulators.
• Experience disputing fines (regulators, PSP/merchants) and understanding judicial processes across jurisdictions.
• Established network of local legal partners and ability to identify and select external law firms.
• High level of independence, able to deliver ready solutions and recommendations.

• Diplomatic in negotiations with payment providers and regulators.
• Professional and mature approach.
