We have built a strong team, recognized by Forbes and Harvard Business Review. To keep achieving goals, we need more professionals. Currently, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Finance Director whose primary target will be to manage our global finance team and lead operational finance activity through the entire Laba group, therefore contributing to improvement initiatives across 9 different jurisdictions.
Your areas of influence on the company’s development:
- Lead and manage local markets finance teams (set KPIs, assess annual performance, monitor internal mood, hire and dismiss when needed);
- Lead operational cash flow forecasting and local markets monetary policy;
- Own and oversee monthly financial reporting and consolidation process;
- Participate in finance transformation projects as a project owner or key stakeholder;
- Active participation in automation streams (drafting technical tasks for IT);
- Oversee intercompany transaction flow and transfer pricing stream;
- High-level communication with banks and payment provider partners;
- Own a high-level tax planning stream.
We’ll feel a connection if you have:
- Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics;
- 5-7+ years of relevant experience in finance or accounting with at least 1+ year of management experience;
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and/or Google Sheets;
- Strong confidence in IFRS;
- Professional proficiency in English with at least Advanced speaking skills;
- Excellent verbal communication and professional corporate writing skills;
- Ability to gain substantive business understanding;
- Excellent time and priorities management skills.
Strong advantage (but not obligatory) if you also have:
- ACCA, CIMA, or other professional certifications at least in progress;
- Experience in IT or EdTech industries or Big 4 companies;
- International experience.
