We are looking for a Lead Frontend Developer to join our growing technology team and take full ownership of the Frontend Unit in the company. In this pivotal role, you will lead the architecture, development, and delivery of cutting-edge frontend solutions across our product lines. You will also play an active role in pre-sales, working closely with stakeholders to shape technical direction and deliver high-impact solutions for our clients.

This remote position is ideal for candidates located in Ukraine or European countries to ensure time zone overlap.

Must-have for the position

• 6+ years of frontend development experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
• 4+ years of proven experience leading frontend teams and projects end-to-end.
• Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Web APIs, and responsive UI design.
• Experience with component-based architecture, state management, and frontend performance optimization.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with clients and supporting pre-sales efforts.
• Ability to guide architectural decisions and deliver clean, scalable codebases.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), testing tools, and modern build systems.
• Ukrainian Level: Upper-Intermediate Ukrainian or higher.
• English Level: Upper-Intermediate English or higher.

Will be a strong plus

• Full Stack Experience: Familiarity with backend technologies (Node.js, Python, etc.) and database systems (SQL/NoSQL).
• Mobile Development: Experience with mobile development (React Native, Flutter, or native).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and DevOps workflows.
• Previous involvement in building developer culture and processes in a growing organization.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing frontend development team.
• Architecture & Development: Define frontend architecture, coding standards, and best practices. Deliver scalable, maintainable, and performant applications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with designers, backend engineers, product managers, and clients to deliver seamless experiences.
• Pre-Sales Involvement: Support business development and pre-sales efforts by contributing to technical proposals, estimations, and client meetings.
• Process Ownership: Establish and improve frontend workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and code review practices.
• Cross-functional Alignment: Ensure frontend initiatives align with backend architecture, devops, QA, and product strategy.

Work Conditions

• Work schedule: standard working day (from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m EST/EEST., Mon. to Fri.);
• Fully Remote: This role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere.
