Senior ML/DS Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced semantic search systems using LLMs, RAG, and vector databases.
• Fine-tune BERT and other language models to improve search accuracy and relevance.
• Optimize and measure search metrics (e.g., NDCG, MRR) to ensure system performance.
• Integrate and manage vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Milvus, FAISS) for semantic search.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver a seamless, high-performing solution.

Requirements

• 4+ years of engineering experience, with a focus on ML/NLP applications.
• Practical experience in fine-tuning BERT models and measuring search performance metrics.
• Strong knowledge of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures and semantic search.
• Experience working with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS, Milvus) and embedding-based search.
• Proficiency in LLM-based solutions (e.g., GPT, LLaMA) and their integration in production systems.
• Experience deploying ML solutions into production environments.

Nice to Have

• Backend development experience using FastAPI.
• Solid understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with search tuning techniques (e.g., BM25, Elasticsearch optimization).
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with Kubernetes for orchestration.
• Understanding of conversational AI pipelines and NLP frameworks.
