About the project: Digital Plant Management Platform

Technical Requirements:
● 3+ years in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles
● Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud (App Services, AKS, Container Apps, Application Gateway)
● Proven skills in container orchestration and migration from VMs to managed services
● Experience with DR planning, RTO/RPO principles
● Proven experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Redis, and performance tuning
● Experience with incident management — PagerDuty, StatusPage
● Scripting in PowerShell, Bash, Python or similar
● CI/CD: Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, CI/CD best practices (Security Scanning)
● Expertise with Database pipelines ( creation incremental upgrade, Liquibase )
● Monitoring: Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana; custom metrics and advanced alerting
● Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, scalability, and cloud cost optimization
● Familiarity with AWS or GCP is a plus

Soft Skills & Communication:
● Strong technical communication skills
● Ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
● English: Upper-intermediate level or higher (spoken and written)

Education & Certifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS, or equivalent experience
● Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Admin, AWS DevOps) preferred

Key Responsibilities:
● Monitoring & Observability
— Enhance infrastructure monitoring with Datadog
— Create custom metrics, alerts, and real-time dashboards
● Incident Management
— Handle infra-related incidents, writing post-incident RCAs, and prevention
— Maintain incident logs and post-mortem documentation
● Automation & Efficiency
— Build and maintain Azure automation scripts
— Implement infrastructure as code and reduce manual ops
● Backup & DR
— Design backup and DR strategies
— Define and maintain RTO/RPO, create runbooks
● CI/CD & Release Management
— Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure Pipelines
— Manage environment promotions and release stability
● Infrastructure Optimization
— Migrate from VM-hosted to managed Azure services
— Implement DR plans; optimize performance, cost, and reliability
● Cost Management
— Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities
— Track, report, and optimize resource usage
● Team Collaboration
— Communicate technical concepts clearly
— Document infrastructure, processes, and decisions
— Work closely with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement
