Product Manager

Київ, Дніпро, за кордоном, віддалено

While this is a Senior role, we are open to strong Mid-level candidates who demonstrate exceptional product thinking, independence and strong analytical skills

About the role
EOSDA works with satellite imagery, geospatial data and analytics that help businesses understand what is happening across large or remote areas without having to inspect them on the ground.

We already know how to search and process satellite imagery, build geospatial analytics and ML models, detect changes and objects and turn complex Earth observation data into useful information.

Now we want to find new markets and business problems where these capabilities can create significant commercial value.

You will explore industries and customer segments, talk to potential users, identify problems and determine where satellite data and analytics can provide a meaningfully better solution.

You will test promising opportunities and when there is enough evidence, you will help turn the strongest opportunities into real products or solutions.

We expect you to bring your own point of view, challenge assumptions and be comfortable stopping ideas that do not show enough potential.

What you will work on

  • Explore industries, markets and customer segments to identify problems where satellite imagery, geospatial analytics or ML could create significant value.
  • Understand how potential customers solve these problems today, what is inefficient or expensive in their current workflow and what would make them switch to a new solution.
  • Conduct customer interviews and combine them with market research, competitor analysis, available product and sales data and insights from internal domain experts.
  • Assess opportunities from both a customer and business perspective: problem severity, willingness to pay, market potential, competition and our ability to build a differentiated solution.
  • Turn the strongest opportunities into clear hypotheses and define what needs to be proven before investing further.
  • Find the fastest practical way to test demand — from mockups and landing pages to manual prototypes, demos or customer pilots.
  • Define MVPs for validated opportunities and help take them from initial concept to first customers.
  • Measure results, learn from failures and decide which opportunities should be developed further, changed or stopped.

Required professional skills

  • Strong product mindset and the ability to start with a customer problem rather than a predefined solution or feature.
  • Proven experience discovering and validating new product opportunities, customer segments or business ideas.
  • Strong customer discovery skills: you can conduct interviews, uncover how customers actually work and distinguish meaningful problems from interesting-but-low-value requests.
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to combine qualitative and quantitative evidence rather than relying on individual signals.
  • Ability to assess the commercial potential of an opportunity, including market size, customer value, willingness to pay, competitive landscape and possible business model.
  • Experience designing practical experiments to validate assumptions before committing significant development resources.
  • Ability to turn an ambiguous opportunity into a clear hypothesis, validation plan and, when justified, an MVP.
  • Experience taking products, major new product areas or solutions from discovery through launch and evaluation.
  • Experience working with complex B2B products, data products or technology-driven solutions.
  • Fluent spoken and written English, including the ability to conduct customer interviews.

Personal qualities

  • Highly independent and comfortable taking ownership of an opportunity from initial research to validation and launch.
  • Curious about unfamiliar industries and able to understand new customer workflows quickly.
  • Comfortable working with uncertainty and making decisions before all information is available.
  • Commercially minded: interested not only in whether something can be built, but whether customers will value it enough to pay for it.
  • Able to separate strong evidence from assumptions and change direction when the evidence does not support the original idea.
  • Open to feedback, but able to defend a well-grounded position and constructively challenge existing thinking.

Nice to have

  • Experience launching a new product, startup or business direction from scratch.
  • Experience with B2B SaaS, vertical SaaS or solutions for professional customers.
  • Experience validating products through prototypes, pilots, concierge solutions or other low-cost experiments.
  • Experience with geospatial products, GIS, remote sensing or satellite imagery.
  • Experience introducing machine-learning or AI capabilities into products.
  • Experience working with technically complex or data-heavy products.

  • 20 paid vacation days.
  • Up to 30 fully paid sick leave days per year.

  • Flexible start of the working day.
