Front-End Automation/General QA Lead (вакансія неактивна)

We’re opening the position of a Front-End Automation/General QA Lead to the existing team in the project of our Customers. They provide SaaS solutions that help companies to optimize their businesses. These solutions include business planning & execution, processes automation and optimization. The Customer’s platform leverages industry-leading artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) for better predictions and prevention of disruptions across businesses.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to understand the project requirements and user stories, and participate in test planning activities to define test scope, approach, and test scenarios
  • Design and execute both manual and automated tests for UI and back-end components using the specified tools and frameworks (e.g., WebDriver.io, Cypress, Blazemeter)
  • Ensure that test cases cover functional, non-functional, load, performance, and edge cases to achieve comprehensive test coverage
  • Identify, report, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira) to ensure issues are properly documented, assigned, and resolved in a timely manner
  • Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test data, ensuring they are up to date and reflect the current system functionality
  • Contribute to the creation of user documentation and help documents as needed

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of commercial experience in QA
  • Strong knowledge and experience in using WebdriverIO, a popular UI automation testing framework, to create and execute automated tests for web applications
  • Knowledge and experience in utilizing GitHub Actions, a CI/CD platform, to configure and manage automated UI testing workflows
  • Proficiency in load and performance testing; strong knowledge of and experience with tools like BlazeMeter or jMeter
  • Familiarity with the project technology stack (WebDriverIO, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Node.js, Azure, BalazeMeter, and REST API)
  • Proficiency in using Cucumber, a behavior-driven development (BDD) framework, to write and execute automated tests in a structured and readable format
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and practices, including automated builds, continuous integration, and continuous delivery, and the ability to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline
  • Ability to identify, isolate, and debug issues in both UI and back-end applications
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions
  • Level of English — Upper-Intermediate or higher
