RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in the requirement engineering process to identify and discuss new features, improvements, and bugs within an agile environment
• Collaborate with other teams to identify and resolve production issues, while maintaining a deep understanding of the technologies employed by the Platform Enabler team
• Perform high- and low-level design, provide pseudo codes, implement prototypes, and conduct reviews
• Uphold top-tier Testing & Quality Assurance standards, utilizing unit testing, integration testing, and other validation methods
• Lead and engage in Code Reviews, promoting continuous improvement, best practices, and collaborative learning
• Research & evaluate new technologies for potential integration into our platform
• Support and mentor junior team members to enhance overall team performance

SKILLS

• 5+ years of experience with enterprise stack (Spring or similar)
• Core experience, critical for operations:
  
  • Core: Java (v21+), Spring Boot (v3+), Microservice Architecture
  • Data Access: Spring @Transactional, JPA / Hibernate, ANSI SQL, PostgreSQL
  • TDD: JUnit 5, Mockito
  • Messaging & APIs: Apache Kafka, Spring MVC @RestController
  • Build & CI: Git, Maven
• Previous Experience which will be beneficial and significantly shorten onboarding:
  
  • Security: Spring Security, OIDC
  • Data Access: jOOQ, Flyway Migrations
  • TDD: AssertJ, Selenium, Serenity, Selenite
  • Messaging & APIs: Retrofit, JAX-WS
  • Build & CI: Docker, Docker Compose
  • Message Routing & Orchestration: Apache Camel
• Nice to have Experience for effective collaboration with other teams:
  
  • Security: Inbound Identity Federation
