Our client is one of the world’s top 10 investment companies with headquarters in Great Britain with branch offices in the US and Hong Kong. The IT environment of this company is constantly growing: there are around 30 programs and more than 60 projects actively developing at present time. During the next 5 years, they are going to replace 150 out of 400 systems.
You will join the integration team which develops services connecting corporate investment management DWH with business applications.
The team involves several developers, an Agile delivery manager, BA, and QA.
The Data Engineer will perform integrations with new products in the client’s enterprise ecosystem as well as adjust some of the existing systems according to changing requirements.
This job is for a person who likes to work with complex tasks on their own: you will be communicating to business stakeholders like asset and fund managers about their needs and difficulties. The solution has many integrations with other enterprise systems and you will be communicating with their owners and developers. But don’t be scared, your teammates are always there to help!
To succeed on a project you will have to use/develop your communication and analytical skills.
The work schedule is according to UK business hours.
