About the Product
We build and transform large, international eCommerce platforms for global brands.
Our core focus is migrating legacy Magento systems to modern BigCommerce architectures — API-first, integration-heavy, multi-region, and built to scale.
About the Role
You will be a key engineer on Magento → BigCommerce migration projects.
This is a role for someone who understands the entire commerce ecosystem — data, integrations, regions, performance, and business logic — and can translate complex Magento implementations into scalable, modern platforms.
What You’ll Do
- Design and deliver Magento → BigCommerce migrations (phased and parallel runs).
- Analyze existing Magento logic (custom modules, data models, integrations) and translate it into API-driven solutions.
- Build integrations with PIM, ERP, CRM, payment, tax, and shipping systems.
- Support multi-region, multi-currency, and multi-storefront commerce setups.
- Ensure performance, data consistency, and system reliability.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and influence the final product.
- Share knowledge and help define engineering best practices.
What We’re Looking For
- 4-6+ years of experience in eCommerce or backend engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce.
- Solid PHP + MySQL, REST APIs, and event-driven integrations.
- Experience working with complex, integration-heavy systems.
- Ability to reason about system boundaries and data flows.
- Conversational English and Ukrainian (collaboration with US and UA teams).
Nice to have: BigCommerce, headless commerce, PIM (Salsify), multi-region setups, CI/CD, Docker, cloud.
Why This Role Is Interesting
- Real architectural challenges, not template stores
- High-impact work on platforms used by thousands of customers
- Migration, integrations, scale — without heavy bureaucracy.
- Ownership and influence over key technical decisions.
- Strong, engineering-driven team culture.
What We Offer
- Competitive compensation.
- Global, large-scale eCommerce projects.
- Exposure to modern composable commerce architecture.
- Autonomy, ownership, and professional growth.
- Collaborative, low-bureaucracy environment.
