We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team. The client provides core services and high-quality solutions for a large-scale online platform and everything related to the online banking system integrating externally developed components into existing application environments.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining our modern data platform. Your expertise in Snowflake, AWS, Python, real-time data solutions, and software engineering will be crucial in driving our data initiatives forward.

This is you

• Experience with Snowflake or a similar cloud data warehouse.
• Solid experience with Airflow for workflow orchestration.
• Proficiency in dbt for data modeling and transformation.
• Expert-level SQL skills across any database technology.
• Strong Python programming experience.
• Familiarity with Looker or other BI/reporting tools.
• Knowledge of AWS services and Kubernetes (a plus).
• Strong analytical and quantitative approach to problem-solving.
• Understanding of Data Engineering best practices, including Data Quality & Observability.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving environment with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Eagerness to learn and grow through on-the-job learning.

This is your role

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines to efficiently process and analyze large volumes of data, utilizing Snowflake, Looker, Airflow, and dbt.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to help translate their requirements into technical steps and coordinate the projects you drive with them.
• Monitor and improve the health of our data pipelines.
• Promote knowledge sharing within the team to foster collaboration and continuous learning, and mentor junior colleagues.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering and bring new ideas to enhance the technical set-up.
