Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or related fields, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of delivering scalable infrastructure solutions in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes and containerized application management.
  • Expertise in GitOps workflows using tools like ArgoCD.
  • Deep knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, Terragrunt) and cloud-native practices.
  • Proficient in monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch, Datadog and Vector.
  • Hands-on expertise in CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred).
  • Advanced understanding of database technologies, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
  • Familiarity with messaging systems like RabbitMQ and distributed systems architecture.
  • Experience managing web servers and proxies such as NGINX and Squid.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

Tech Leadership:

  • Design and deliver scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Lead the creation, management, monitoring, and support of infrastructure and associated services.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure architecture and roadmaps, ensuring lifecycle management of deployed technologies.
  • Establish and enforce policies, architectural principles, and design standards for network, compute, storage, and cloud services.
  • Drive innovation by researching and implementing best practices and emerging technologies in infrastructure and operations.

Team Leadership:

  • Manage and mentor the DevOps, SRE, and DBA teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and technical excellence.
  • Provide senior technical leadership to resolve complex issues and guide technical strategy across teams.
  • Supply technical resources for new projects and ensure alignment with application and infrastructure strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, product, and business units to meet organizational goals.

Operations and Support:

  • Oversee the end-to-end monitoring and support of infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance and availability.
  • Respond to and resolve high-severity incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
  • Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
