Position Overview:

We are seeking a Tech Lead / Architect with expertise in Node.js, PHP, and Vue.js and experience in the development of streaming platforms and/or social media from scratch to join our dynamic and passionate team. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our platform. You should have a deep passion for creating .io games and building exceptional user experiences using modern web technologies like Web Components with Lit or Vue3.

Project Details:

There is an innovative platform that combines the best of YouTube and Wikipedia, aiming to create a seamless and efficient experience for content creators and viewers alike. A mission is to address the challenges faced by online creators and viewers, offering a solution that saves time and delivers concise, relevant content. By embedding content creators’ work, a customer empowers them to reach a wider audience and support their growth.

Project Type: Ongoing

Project Duration: Long-lasting (12 months+)

Project Description: The platform is akin to a fusion of YouTube and Wikipedia but is not a YouTube competitor. Instead, it complements and enhances the YouTube experience. The project is designed to rectify the mistakes made by YouTube, such as demonetizing small creators with too few subscribers, and to fulfill two core needs:

Time Efficiency: Aim to save users’ valuable time by providing concise and relevant short-form content.
Short-Form Content: The platform focuses on delivering relevant video clips, allowing users to access engaging content without watching entire videos.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the development team to create and maintain web applications that enhance user experience.
Utilize your expertise in Node.js, PHP, and Vue3 to develop efficient and scalable backend and frontend solutions.
Work on embedding content from various sources to improve the accessibility of relevant video clips.
Actively participate in code reviews and provide valuable input for process and codebase improvements.
Demonstrate a “no ego” attitude and be vocal about enhancing existing processes, requirements, or code.

Qualifications:

5+ years of professional experience in web development.
Proficiency in Node.js, PHP, and Vue3, along with a strong understanding of Typescript.
Experience with MySQL and other databases, REST APIs, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure).
Familiarity with project management tools like Jira.
A deep passion for creating .io games and building exceptional user experiences.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
Experience in development streaming platforms or/and social media from scratch

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Experience with YouTube API, WordPress, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Laravel, Chrome extensions, Lit.
Knowledge of ISO Information Security standards.

Soft Skills:

Sharp and innovative, bringing fresh ideas to the team.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Collaborative team player with a focus on enhancing processes and code quality.

Language Skills:

Upper-intermediate English level or higher.
