We are looking for a Senior Project Manager who will take full ownership of delivery for a mature, long-running project. You will join an ongoing long-term project with an established engineering team, working on a complex, domain-heavy product with high business impact.
Our client is a US-based product company that develops enterprise software solutions for finance, accounting, and tax operations, primarily for large asset-intensive businesses such as energy and utilities companies.
The platform helps organizations automate complex financial processes, improve data transparency, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. It integrates with major ERP systems and supports mission-critical workflows used by large-scale enterprises.
You Have
- Senior-level Project Management experience in complex, long-running software projects
- Strong background working with: Distributed teams (~15 FTE)
- Senior engineers and technical leads
- Clients without a formal Product Manager on their side
- Technical literacy: Not expected to make technical decisions
- Must understand technical discussions and argue decisions logically and credibly
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including: Managing ~10 client stakeholders at different engagement levels
- Explaining trade-offs, risks, and decisions clearly
- High level of process thinking and structure, with flexibility to adapt processes as the project evolves
- Strong authority and presence to earn respect from a mature, long-tenured team
You Are Going To
- Manage projects end to end, covering planning, delivery, and execution phases
- Own scope management and prioritization based on client input and internal validation
- Coordinate releases and groom the backlog in close collaboration with subject-matter experts and engineering teams
- Manage stakeholders through regular and structured communication, including client-side subject-matter experts, Senior stakeholders (CTO/CEO level)
- Process ownership and improvement, including Jira workflows and automation
User story quality and acceptance
Release and estimation processes
Roadmap actualization process - Act as a bridge between engineering and the client, facilitating tech discussion between the team and stakeholders with clear, logical, and technically grounded arguments
- Maintain delivery stability during periods of team or scope change
